Here's wishing my very wonderful Mom a Happy Mother's Day!!! ^_^

This morning, I ate Doughnut Plant's Rose Petal Doughnut on her behalf, hehe. It's pricier than most of their (already expensive) doughnuts...this one rang in at $3.50. For a doughnut! Nonetheless. I am a sucker. And it was tasty.

The Cajeta filled Churros are a "better" deal at $1.50 a piece...I recently wrote about it on Serious Eats New York.

I'll be back later this week for the new Carrot Cake Doughnuts - exciting!!

that was a pricey donut, but at least it was tasty! can't wait to hear about the carrot cake donut!
Kat!
I'm used to overpriced baked goods, but nearly $4 for a doughnut is taking it a bit far...^_^ Good thing the carrot cake doughnut is only $1.75! hehe.
I can't believe I didn't go there last month when I was in the city. I really want to try one f the rose doughnuts, price be damned. Have to wait a couple more months...
I have never eaten or seen a rose petal donut, an I certainly haven't eaten any rose petals before! It sounds like it would be good though :).
Those churros look delicious and certainly do not look like those boring industrially made ones.
Hey Anna!
I'm sure they'll also have a ton of new flavours by the time of your next visit...that what keeps this place exciting! :)
Hey EatTravelEat!
I'm a big fan of the Doughnut Plant (though I confess to craving the supermarket ones far too often, hehe ;)
Oooh! Please do report back on the carrot cake donut...THAT I would go out of my way for!
