The one dish I did not enjoy much was the Snails, Red Lentils, Juniper, Orange. Love snails, love lentils, and juniper, and orange. But lentils cooked in orange juice? I'll pass on that.
As far as dessert went, we mixed it up and added a few more for variety. The definite highlight was the Soft Chocolate, Peppermint Ice Cream, Black Cardamom, Toffee...though the pre-dessert of Vanilla Ice Cream, Balsamic, Raspberry was just as splendid. One thing I couldn't help noticing: they've cut down on the mignardises! In January we had the Cocoa Packets along with Pear-Pistachio Cake, and Chocolate and Milk Ice Cream. This time there was no Pear-Pistachio Cake.

Kicking myself for not saving up the money and having the foresight to get reservations there last month. I literally dreamed about eating there one night. I hope it's as good as it was in my dream. Soon...
strangely I've never dined here... what do you do with the cocoa packets? Do you eat them whole? I'll have to remember to check back to see if you post the answer.
Mmm mmmmm! That all looks delicious. (I second you on the lentils cooked in orange juice though-doesn't sound like a great combo.)
Happy eating:)

The cocoa packets look like an interesting dessert.
I love to try tasting menus, have you tried the one at Alan Wong? loved it with their wine pairings.
Hey Anna!
One day, one day! ^_^
Hey Justin!
You eat it whole...pretty neat, huh? :)
Hey Tamakikat!
It was delicious meal! :) The lentils was the only disappointing dish.
Hey Kat!
Nooo, I must do that the next time I am back home!! :D
As a lover of anything citrus-flavored, I have to admit I enjoyed the lentils/orange combination, Kathy! And who woulda thunk I would like snails?!
wow, I'm totally intrigued by the packets now. worth a visit just for that I think.
whoa, I stopped by and the cocoa packet dessert was $15. a little steep.
