Saturday, 2:00pm -> my first visit to the Hampton Chutney Co in Soho. Zubair had a dosa craving, and because our first two choices - Chennai Garden (too far north) and the Dosa Man in Washington Square Park (only open on weekdays) didn't work, we found ourselves making a short stroll down to Price Street.
The menu is pretty extensive and it wasn't easy to settle on just one! Luckily enough, we each narrowed it down to the same two dosas, which we shared.

First, the Tuna with Cilantro Chutney Dressing, Avocado, Arugula & Tomato Dosa...

...with a side of Curry Chutney.

Then, the Curry Chicken, Spinach & Balsamic Roasted Onion Dosa...

...with Mango Chutney.

And because the weather was so warm out, we cooled down with cups of Iced Cardamom Coffee and Chai. Post-lunch sweets at Jacques Torres, and then homemade smoothies...simple afternoons are the best ^_^

did you enjoy your dosa? Unfortunately, I wasn't too impressed with mine when I went there. And the lack of comfortable seating made me try to eat quickly and leave.
those are some good lookin' dosas.

I haven't been here in a while, but your blog still makes me drool! Had lots of fun catching up :) I'm in PA for the summer, so hopefully I can pop up to NYC to try a few of these yummy goodies you've been blogging!
Hey Gar!
Seating was a major problem (especially given the crowd), but I enjoy the dosas quite a bit! What didn't you like about it?
Hey Yutjangsah!

Kat!
Especially on a super warm day! ^_^
Hey Angela!
Heheh, if the food makes you drool, then I did something right! ;)
i don't know...I didn't think mine was very filling and not much veggie in my dosa.
The dosa looks really good! I haven't had one before and this looks very yummy. The fillings look so bright and delicious.
Great combo of the chicken dosa with the chai tea :).
